Who We Are
One Way Christian Church is made up of ordinary, real people of all ages and from all walks of life. We do not claim to be perfect, but we do claim to be forgiven by God and welcomed into his family. Our vision is to see the people of Margate, the Channel and beyond come to know Jesus Christ. We would love for you to join us as we meet together, as we encourage and strengthen each other in our faith.
History
In 2002 the Christian Reformed Church of Kingston (CRCK) put out a call for members who were passionate about spreading the gospel in Margate and the Channel. This group started meeting together in June of 2002 as One Way Christian Church and were instituted as a separate church in January 2010.
One Way still operates under a network agreement with the Kingston Christian Reformed Church, Bay Christian Church, Summerleas Christian Church and Redeemer Christian Church. This allows the churches in the network to share administrative, financial and spiritual support. We are part of the wider denomination of the Christian Reformed Churches of Australia.
Beliefs
One Way is part of the Christian Reformed Churches of Australia. We therefore subscribe to the: Apostles Creed, Nicene Creed, Athanasian Creed, the Belgic Confession, Heidelberg Confession, and Canons of Dordt.
